Paper presented to WCTR Lisbon Conference

The 12th World Conference on Transport Research took place in Lisbon, Portugal, in July 2010. We presented a paper to the conference, “Stakeholder Consultation in Road Administration”. It has two central themes: first, roads are more than just a part of a transportation network for road vehicles – they are land which is open to and used by the public for many purposes;and secondly effective stakeholder consultation by road administrators is possible – even where resources are limited.
